Happy new year! The light is returning, friends (and soon: the warmth of spring blossoms).

I’ve been a busy boy. My tiny home is now a very functional workshop site and the final stages of the tiny home build are underway. It also acts as a little music studio (a cabin away from neighbours sure makes for a great music space!). It’s funny, I ran an online meet-up for a while called Soundmaker’s Workshop where we shared music and talked music theory and such. Now I literally have a soundmaker’s workshop… Additionally, I have a farmhouse room rented nearby as a home base. I’m very grateful for my excellent landlords there, and for the horses out in the field near my room.

It’s been a month of setting up systems and schedules, and laying a few stones too. Groundwork for the year ahead. Today I jammed on a few songs and I’m so pumped for the classes and private lessons I’m running, leading into concerts and jams here and there (and everywhere. . .). Stay tuned folks!

In warmth,
Thomas

2. For private teaching, I’m teaching in homes on Saturdays from Guelph to Milton to Toronto, many of those students are on an every other week. I teach online Wednesday evenings.

3. I’m looking at offering courses (similar to the arts courses described above) in Toronto and Kitchener / Waterloo area coming up. Let me know if you’re interested.

Hi everyone,

I’ve been busy working on launching Rosetown Arts Guild and developing and teaching the arts program at Evergreen Steam Academy in Burlington, Ontario. I feel those entities are finally hitting stride and I’m ready to focus on some Songstream programs. So stay tuned: over the next month or so I aim to organize a number of Music, Arts, and Healing programs, both locally (southern Ontario) and online. Events too.

The October MuseLetter arts collection launches Oct. 17 at rosetown.art. 🌹
My new podcast, created with my fellow music teacher friend Dylan DiChiara, launched on Rosetown Productions on YouTube. Finally, I hope to record some Songstream Ukulele episodes soon, where I teach ukulele songs and talk about playing music.

I work with sound.
And artists are bellowing.
I love to hear it.
